A month before the 2022 elections ND group presents this Friday (2) the Voto+ platform with new tools. In addition to real-time news and behind-the-scenes scenarios of Santa Catarina and the national elections, the page provides detailed information on all candidates with a special focus on the names that run for the Presidency of the Republic, the State Government of Santa Catarina and the Senate.

Voters will have access to the candidates’ fan page with exclusive profiles of each of them, as well as a list of candidates’ campaign expenses and their government’s plans. The page also provides a ranking of proposals based on government plans and a comparison of candidate proposals to facilitate voter analysis. Platform vote+ presents the voter with another tool: the selection of candidates. In a 10-question questionnaire, Internet users will find out which of the candidates for the government of Santa Catarina is most compatible with their opinion.

Platform launch vote + is the result of a collaborative effort by a digital team ND group It’s from NDI (Data Center and Investigative Journalism). The entire project, from concept to implementation, required months of developer work and team investment. There are dozens of employees from different platforms ND groupwho have been working together since January.

For Jean Felipe de Oliveira, Head of Digital Media, vote+ it is an innovative platform linked to the largest portals in the country and never before seen in Santa Catarina. “We are looking for many recommendations, national and international, to build our platform. We are proud of the delivery,” says Oliveira.

A team of five journalists who have been doing research since the beginning of the year participated in the creation of the new tool,” says Vanessa da Rocha, Data and Investigative Reporting Manager at Grupo ND. “Hundreds of calls, dozens of questionnaires and questionnaires have been received. We knew that in order to put together such a complex database, we would have to work hard. And that’s what we did.”
