In a warm mood for the 24th Itajaí Music Festival, the city is getting more musical entertainment that promises to lull the population to sleep. This week, Itajaí, on the north coast of Santa Catarina, will host the International Southern Music Fair, one of the nation’s premier musical events.

The events will be completely face-to-face and free of charge. The event will take place this Thursday (1st) and Friday (2nd) at Casa da Cultura Dide Brandão. On Thursday, discussion panels, workshops and networking rounds are held throughout the day with the participation of well-known organizers of music festivals in Brazil.
On Friday, starting at 5:00 pm, the artists and bands from Santa Catarina selected for the show will perform on the Artur Maya Stage, located on Arno Bauer Square. FIMS (International Southern Music Fair) aims to bring together artists, producers, music industry workers and those interested in entering this one of the growing markets in the country.
Since 2016, the fair has been celebrating and appreciating music from the south of Brazil. In addition to the Itajaí (SC) edition, Drops FIMS had a Porto Alegre (PC) edition and another in Londrina (PR).
The International Music Fair of the South precedes the 24th Itajaí Music Festival, considered one of the largest and most traditional music shows in Brazil, which this year runs from 3 to 11 September with 100% free programming.
