President Jair Bolsonaro visited the municipality of Juiz de Fora in the Zona da Mata of the state of Minas Gerais on Friday (15). Bolsonaro returned to the city after four years of blows on September 6, 2018 during the presidential campaign.
In his Juiz de Fora speech, Bolsonaro said he “continues to risk his life” “among the people”. During his visit to Santa Casa, where he received treatment after the attack, Bolsonaro met with the doctors who provided the service.
At that time, a knife stab pierced Bolsonaro’s large and small intestines, as well as the mesenteric artery, which is responsible for delivering blood to the intestines. Adélio Bispo is in the Campo Grande prison in Mato Grosso do Sul.
Bolsonaro said that the “hand of God” helped him survive the coup. “As far as I know, here (in the hospital) my memory is not evocative. I arrived almost in a swoon. I woke up on the plane of the intensive care unit at the airport,” he said, recalling the moment of his transfer to Sao Paulo, where he was in the Albert Einstein Hospital.
“I continue to risk my life out there among the people. A lot of people say “be careful” but I’m not a president of my own free will. I have to be among the people – and I was among the people even during the pandemic. I have not ceased to be among the people,” the president said.
“Many people ask me: “Who is responsible?”, well… we have a killer, with three lawyers, with conditions, we have the words of some, we have people who use the name Adelio, and so much evidence,” said the president.
During the visit to the city, Bolsonaro was accompanied by a delegation that included Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga; Senator Carlos Viana, PL candidate for the government of Minas Gerais; federal deputy Marcelo Alvaro Antonio, the Liberal candidate for the Senate; Belo Horizonte Councilor Nicholas Ferreira and State Deputy Bruno Engler, both LP.
