Accompanied by Union Attorney General Bruno Bianco, President Jair Bolsonaro told supporters that if former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is elected, he will create a “profession” of mobile phone thieves.
Despite his shortcomings, Bolsonaro said that “in this polarization, you have to pick a side” between him and the PT presidential candidate. “I know that I have many flaws, but next to another guy, for God’s sake. He will create a new profession: a cell phone thief,” the president said. Information taken from the Poder 360 website.
Bolsonaro’s speech refers to Lula’s 2019 speech at metal workers’ unions in São Paulo. Lula said at the time that he “couldn’t see a 14- or 15-year-old boy robbed and raped, killed by the police, sometimes innocent or sometimes because he stole a cell phone.”
Jair Bolsonaro also poked fun at former President Lulu, saying he would win the Nobel Peace Prize for solving the war in Ukraine by “drinking beer.” At an event at Uerj (Rio de Janeiro State University), PT stated that the problem could be “resolved in Brazil at the beer table.”
The President referred to the closed plea deal disclosed by Veja magazine from Marcos Valerio’s testimony to the PF (Federal Police) who detailed the alleged relationship between PT and PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital). “What a shame for this guy to be President of the Republic,” he added.
