Republican vice presidential candidate Geraldo Alkmin (PSB) is looking for economists as allies for the council. According to Estadão, members of the PT (Workers’ Party) tell Alcmine that their mission is to “communicate with businessmen on health and agricultural issues.”

Some of the names already mentioned are Andre Roncaglia, Rogerio Studart and Josue Pelegrini. In addition to new alliances, according to information, he should participate in discussions of the government program.
Alcmine is an important and strategic piece to keep a good environment, keeping the economists closer in the 2nd round or even in the government if elected.
Among the issues that “require” good pacts is the abolition of the spending ceiling, which is an irreversible debate for the PT. Estadao said Alkmin cannot change his choice, but he can create the conditions for oil alliances.
