The INSS (National Institute for Social Security) has published in the Official Gazette of the Union a regulation specifying the return of the servers to work in person from this Monday (6).
The measure applies to civil servants, civil servants, temporary contractors and agency interns who have been working remotely due to the public health emergency caused by Covid-19.
The ordinance also prohibits the use of a face shield in INSS units. The text states that servers must comply with mandatory personal protection, isolation, quarantine and other operating conditions established by states, federal districts and municipalities.
Suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic, the return to face-to-face body work has been gradual since last year by appointment.
In March, the INSS already issued another ruling, this time eliminating the need for prior appointment to serve in agencies. In this case, in addition to the requests already planned, the agencies have also resumed the so-called spontaneous service, carried out at the screening, self-service with a guide or at a special information desk without the need for advance planning.
In addition to the INSS, other federal governments such as the Federal Revenue Service also resumed face-to-face operations this Monday (6). The return is part of the federal government’s decision to reopen private government servers and government employees.
