Dogs and cats are animals with great potential to decorate the home and entertain children and adults. This Saturday (16), residents of Camboriu, on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, will be able to adopt a pet for free at the Fucam adoption fair (Fundação do Meio Ambiente de Camboriú).

According to the mayor’s office, the adoption fair will begin at 9 a.m. at Praça das Figueiras on Gustavo Richard Street in the center. The promotion is part of the campaign Green Decemberwhich aims to raise awareness among residents to combat animal cruelty and abandonment.
To be able to adopt a pet, you must present a photo ID and proof of residency. In addition, the animals will receive veterinary care, a conversation with a guide dog handler and trainer Gabriela Mitali do Carmo, and a donation of seedlings.
