Pet owners will have four days to take their pets to the castration campaign, which will take place in December in Vila Germanica, in the Vella Central area. From 13 to 16 December, the Blumenau Town Hall (PMB) advertises the event free of charge from 7:00 to 16:00.
During the action, pets are implanted with a microchip that allows them to control animals throughout the city. The municipality has more than 13,800 animals that have benefited from the joint efforts carried out continuously since June last year in Blumenau.
The Department of Environment and Sustainable Development (Semmas) understands that this is a long-standing public demand and that it benefits organizations that care for animals.
To participate in the project, interested parties must register via WhatsApp at (47) 99983-5657 through PMB’s Dog and Cat Neutering Program. Recalling that the action is aimed at non-governmental organizations (NGOs), registered independent advocates and low-income families registered in the Unified Register (CadUnico).
