Cats and Christmas trees have a funny reputation. Cats love decorations, especially those that are hung or left on the ground from trees. A video posted online shows why the owner hung Christmas decorations from the ceiling.

In a short video posted to TikTok, the cat appears to be looking very intently at a tree, as if thinking, “If I’m fast, she won’t even notice.”

At some point the cat decides that he is really going to jump, prepares himself, does a super jump and ends up hanging halfway from the tree.

The video has 7 million likes and thousands of comments enjoying the recorded scene. “Cats are definitely the biggest enemy of Christmas,” an internet user commented.
