Despite the intense love that owners have for their animals, the biggest precaution everyone should take is dog bites. According to Esther Halfon, an integrative veterinarian, the most dangerous breeds are those with strong jaws and sharp teeth.
Following this line, animal trainer Fernando Lopez claims that the Brazilian Fila has the strongest bite in the world. “To give you an idea, it can be up to 70kg,” he explains.
Lopez says some research on the animal has been done in South America, but because it is Brazilian, it hasn’t received much attention.

According to Halfon, a dog’s bite is measured in PSI (pounds per square inch).
