The scene of a bear cub playing with a balloon and becoming somewhat distracted on the side of a busy street has gone viral online in recent days. The incident also divided opinion.

There is no information about the author of the recording or the filming location. According to the Brazilians’ profiles, the footage was filmed in Canada and shows a bear playing with a red balloon.

This scene was published and commented on, with some abbreviations, by the YouTube channel “Carne Nunca Mais”, known for its materials about veganism and the environment. In the video, the bear’s mother manages to stop traffic on the road so that the cub can cross the road.

However, distracted, the cat happily plays with a balloon that he accidentally found on the road. After this, the balloon flies away and the cat goes to meet his mother.

“In this case it was just a cute scene. But objects like balloons pose a danger to various species of animals that may end up ingesting the material,” explained an influencer who owns the channel.
