A group of tourists, without hesitation, helped one of the ocean’s largest predators return home. They saved the life of a large mako shark stuck on the sand.
An unusual incident occurred in the Gulf of Mexico after a couple discovered a shark floundering in the sand.
“We took steps to get him back into the water as wildlife officers and rescuers told us there was nothing they could do. So we did everything possible to try to save him,” the woman wrote on social networks.
The moment of collective help was recorded and published on social networks. The video shows several men pulling the animal by its tail towards the sea.
Despite the danger, the people managed to complete the task, no one was hurt, and the shark continued its journey in the ocean.
