The sighting of a cow coming face to face with a giant snake, even “kissing” the snake, has taken over social media in recent days. According to a biologist who posted a video explaining the topic, this seemingly beautiful scene filmed overseas has a somewhat unfortunate plot.
According to Enrique Abrahan, the scene, filmed abroad, does not show a moment of peace between the animals, but shows the procedures that disfigured the natural characteristics of the snake.
“Most likely this cobra snake is a little ‘crippled’ (weakened), someone has already removed the venom gland, or perhaps something worse has already happened. You can’t imagine what people involved in snake breeding can do with these animals,” the expert warns.

Even during the video, the expert reminds that Indian habits are very common in these videos, in scenes where people even play the flute for the snakes and they “come out to dance.” According to the biologist, these traditional habits are legendary, and snakes have no hearing.
“There’s nothing cute there. Many people even die after coming into contact with this type of snake. This snake either had its mouth taped shut, or had surgery without anesthesia, or someone simply tore out the poisonous gland, or something like that. And not only that, they can even sell this type of animal,” he says.
In previous videos, the expert has already emphasized that the cobra is one of the four deadliest eastern snakes. The expert claims that accidents with cobras, unlike other species, occur more often due to mishandling by snake charmers, which is common in these regions.
