Manul, according to Enrique, is about the size of a small domestic cat. “It is very hairy and feeds mainly on mammals, specializing in eating rodents and rabbits,” says the biologist.

The manul also has black spots on its forehead, black stripes on its cheeks, and black rings on its tail, hence the resemblance to a raccoon.
