“She’s very big,” says a man when he encounters a huge plump anaconda on a Brazilian road. The size of the snake surprised motorists passing by. The child, with the person who made the recording, approached the snake to try and give a better measurement of the animal’s size.

The snake was found on the side of the road with no signs of life. The man who filmed the video believes she tried to cross the road. Biologist Enrique Abrajao, who commented on the video, says she was probably shot down.
In addition to the length of the snake, the fact that it was thick attracted attention. In the video, the man wonders what she could have eaten. The biologist, however, denies that food is the cause of his size. “It’s not about what she ate, she’s swollen, decomposing. These are gases,” says the biologist.

Anacondas are known for their size, which is often intimidating. According to Fiokruz (Oswaldo Cruz Foundation), this species can reach over seven meters in length and has a very muscular body, being the largest snake in the world by mass. When feeding, it becomes even more.
Anacondas, also known as anacondas, usually hunt by ambushing possible prey near river banks. Although they do not have venom, they use their strength as their primary means of hunting by wrapping themselves around their prey, squeezing it.
