Volunteer firefighters from Pomerode in the Itajai Valley rescued two vipers this weekend in a very unusual place. The incident took place around 9:15 am this Saturday (1st) at a house on Rua Helmut Ran, in the Testo Alto area.
According to rescuers, two snakes of the species Hararaka Botrops, which are poisonous, have invaded the chicken coop of an apartment building. Faced with the situation, she decided to call the fire department to remove the snakes and release them to safety.

According to the Ministry of Health, the viper is responsible for 70% of snake accidents in Brazil. The snake can be found in humid environments such as rivers, streams, and ponds.
