One crab was enough to disrupt the landing of a flight at Vitoria International Airport in Espirito Santo. The incident occurred on Monday evening (20) and was recorded by a passenger when the commander informed the passengers about it.
After a fright, the plane landed without problems. “Unfortunately, our landing in Vitoria was not possible. Believe it or not, the plane that landed a little before us reported an absurd amount of crabs on the runway. Lots of huge crabs and the control tower got us going. An inspection will be carried out and crabs will be collected,” says the commander.

However, the person in charge of the operation at the airport stated that it was only a crab, according to the Metropoles portal.
“Zurich Airport, Brazil reports that a crab has been found on the runway. The airport fauna team has been activated. This is the standard procedure provided for in such cases. Immediately after the removal of the animal, operations continued regularly. The aircraft in the video landed approximately 10 minutes later,” the company said in a statement.
