The internet has limitations and one of them is watching a tiktoker cook and eat fried kururu frog with his friends. A video of the strange food was posted on TikTok and left many people disgusted and fearful in equal measure.
Ian Bartholomew, who lives in Australia and specializes in unusual dishes, decided to cook a remarkable delicacy.
“A little flour, rosemary salt,” he says as he prepares the remains of the still-bleeding animal. Two of Jan’s friends also ate this delicacy, and one of them was delighted with this dish: “It’s actually ten times better than I thought.”
While supposedly delicious, the recipe was dangerous, as Yang admitted that he had not researched the toad’s venom, which he assumed would disappear once it was fried in oil.
In the comments, disgust was almost unanimous. “Sorry, but no, no, no,” said one response, while another joked about the possibility that the frog “tastes like chicken.”

Cane toads arrived in Australia in 1935 to control pests that ate sugar cane plantations. In addition to missing the mission, the animal has gone out of control across the country and is now responsible for a very serious ecological imbalance.
