According to the teacher, she saw in the closet something dark and folded behind a backpack belonging to one of the children. It was a red-bellied black snake, a very venomous snake, native to Australia.
As he approached to take a closer look at it, he thought for a few seconds that it was a toy snake. But when he noticed that the animal moved slightly, he panicked.
The story was released by Hudson Snake Catching, a.k.a. “The Gold Coast Snake Catcher”. On social media, Hudson shares various content about animals and rescue.
Immediately, the teacher removed all the children from the room and called a team of snake catchers, who took the animal out of the nursery without incident.
The job was made easier as the teachers sealed off all the doors with rolled-up rags at the entrance, preventing the animal from escaping to other areas of the school.
