We are used to seeing lions stalking prey, but shocking footage shows otherwise. The cat is eventually attacked by buffaloes.

The lion known as Darkmane is seen in the midst of the vast horde. At first, the atmosphere even seems friendly, but the scenario quickly changes.

O video caught a real fight against death. The lion was attacked from every possible angle and was practically lifeless.

Although it is not visible in the pictures, the feline managed to escape and experience firsthand what it means to be defenseless.

Life is not easy even for the king of the savannas.

This lion, known as Darkmane, was caught by a herd of buffalo and barely survived to tell the story.
