The case of the elephant that killed a 70-year-old woman in India and then invaded a funeral to trample on the body has received a new chapter. New details indicate that the animal gathered other elephants to invade the village where the woman lived and destroy the houses there.
The clay house was destroyed and trampled by an elephant. The goats that lived there were also killed. Other elephants were busy eating village food and destroying other houses.
When the herd destroyed the village, the inhabitants had to flee to avoid the attack. One of the residents had to climb a tree and stay there for several hours to save her life.
An elderly woman was attacked by an animal on June 10 and was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but ended up putting up no resistance and died. It is not yet known what motivated the aggressive behavior of the animal.
