Even without the sold Thor cub, the llama family living in Campo Alegre, on the northern plateau of Santa Catarina, continues to attract attention with the beauty and originality of the breed.
The animals live on the farm of Denise and Gilberto Lorenzetta, and every time Denise posts on social media, she gets a lot of likes and comments.
Anselmo, Gretchen, Baby, Short Pants, Pintado are llamas that live on the territory. “Anselmo is the biggest of all and the most daring,” laughs Denise.
Mammals common in cold regions of South America above 3,000 feet, such as Chile, Bolivia, Peru, and Argentina, have adapted well to the Santa Catarina Plateau. Llamas feed on silage, horse food, grass and plants. But they also love vegetables.
