The Guinness Book of Records has officially recognized the toy fox terrier Pebble as the oldest dog in the world.

At 22, she lives with her owners, Bobby and Julie Gregory, in South Carolina, USA. The daily routine of the animal, who loves to listen to country music and eat pizza, is being shared on social media. Information taken from Metro World News.
The little dog, which weighs just over 2 kg, was born on March 28, 2000. According to experts interviewed by Fox, on average, these animals live from 12 to 14 years. Pebbles has already surpassed this target in eight years.
The family revealed in an interview with Fox that they decided to reveal Pebbles’ age after seeing a report about dog Toby Keith, born on January 9, 2001 in Greenacres, Florida.

“Bobby was sitting on the couch and started getting texts and phone calls about the story about the 21 year old dog who took the record. When I saw TobyKate’s story all over the news, I applied,” Julie said.

After she became “famous” for the title, the family said that Pebbles is a “night owl” as she likes to sleep during the day and stay awake at night.
In addition, she is a fan of fast food. “She loves pizza, hamburgers, tacos, cat food and listening to country music,” the owner said.
For Julie, the secret to a dog’s long life lies in the care it receives: “Treat your pet like family because they are family. Provide them with the best possible happy and positive environment, as well as good nutrition, hygiene and proper medical care.”
