A family living in Guaratuba, Parana state, had a great scare this Sunday morning (17). Little Gabriel, just 5 years old, collapsed at home due to pneumonia. In desperation, the parents sought help from the PRF (Federal Traffic Police), which escorted the child to a hospital in the center of Joinville.

The boy’s father told police that the child had contracted pneumonia and collapsed at home. The family then called PRF and asked for help to rush their son to the hospital.

According to the father, the child became seriously ill back in 2021 when he was taken to a hospital in Guaratuba. Then the doctors asked to transfer him to Joinville, where the family would find appropriate treatment. With the help of PRF, the boy was quickly transported.

“They said there was nothing they could do, that he had to be taken to Joinville or he might die. At that time you [PRF] They helped us and two years later they helped us again. We called and asked for support, and they managed to escort us. Now he [Gabriel] He’s fine, he’s about to be hospitalized, he has pneumonia, but your help changed the situation,” the father said in the video sent to the police.

According to PRF, the child treated in Joinville last Sunday (17 years old) is doing well and is recovering from the scare.
