Ze Neto, of the duo Ze Neto and Cristiano, was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday evening on the BR-153 highway, near Condomínio Enseada II, in Fronteira (Mingiu). The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. when a fellow countryman’s car collided with a truck, causing it to overturn.

Following the collision, Zé Neto was quickly rescued and taken to the São José do Rio Preto (SP) Hospital, where he remained in hospital until this Wednesday morning (6).

According to PRF, the singer suffered three broken ribs due to the rollover, and his partner Cristiano said on social media that he would require 24-hour observation in the intensive care unit.

In addition, Ze Neto is scheduled to undergo a procedure due to a cut on his hand, and a CT scan of his neck and neck showed no abnormalities. Cristiano shared the news that Ze Neto’s condition is stable and conscious, and this information was confirmed by the country duo’s consultants.

“Ze Neto is fine. A rib fracture was diagnosed which has healed so no drainage is required and the singer will only need a few stitches on his arm due to injuries sustained in the accident. A CT scan of the cervix and neck showed normality,” the statement said.

It is worth noting that two more cars were also involved in the accident, as a result of which five people were injured, who were promptly provided with medical assistance. The remaining victims were taken to the border emergency department and, fortunately, are not in danger of death.
