In order to raise awareness among the population of Crisium about the importance of CPR training, the City Hall is promoting on Saturday (25) the initiative “RCP Day – Your Hands Can Save Lives”. The event will take place in Nereu Ramos Square from 9:00 to 12:00.
Partnership between Crisiuma City Hall and other authorities
In partnership with Samu (Mobile Emergency Service), Unesc (University of Extremo Sul Catarinense), Imas (Maria Schmitt Institute) and Gereu (Emergency Education Management), the action will teach people how to act immediately to perform CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) . ).
“RCP Day arose from a need raised by our pre-hospital care teams. In many cases, patients do not receive adequate care, and we know that early CPR provides much better survival for these patients suffering from cardiopulmonary arrest,” explained Municipal Health Minister Acelio Casagrande.
As part of the initiative, rescuers from Samu, emergency department (ED) specialists 24 hours a day and UNESC nursing students will conduct free practical CPR workshops.
“Our goal is to raise awareness and teach people that learning these maneuvers from trained professionals can save lives,” concludes Casagrande.
