The Univille Dentistry course at the Joinville Campus is promoting the Social Plaque Project on 16 and 30 November at 4:30 pm. The goal is to help the public control bruxism through dental guards, which will be made free of charge by students and faculty at the university’s dental clinic. Placa Social also benefits from the support of partner companies in the allocation of resources.
This action was the subject of an interview this Thursday (16th) on NDFM Joinville radio with Professor Pedro Ivo Gualberto Malschi Alves da Silva, project coordinator.
Appointments will be made by calling (47) 3461-9129 and the public should indicate their interest in participating in the Placa Social Project.
Participants will be screened and patients will be referred for treatment once indicated for use. If new appointments are required, the dental team will schedule new appointments.
