Little Agatha, 22 weeks, had an unprecedented operation last Friday (27). While still in the womb, the baby was examined by more than 20 specialists from the Materno-Infantil de Brasília hospital. The team worked to correct the congenital malformation that caused her to be born with motor limitations.

The operation, carried out at HMIB (Hospital Materno-Infantil de Brasília), was carried out to correct a congenital malformation known as “spina bifida”, where part of the spine is exposed.
The complex and unprecedented procedure was successful, and Agatha’s pregnancy continues normally.
