Fausto Silva, known as Faustan, is showing “good recovery and has no evidence of organ rejection,” according to a new medical bulletin issued by the hospital where he was admitted, in Sao Paulo, this Friday (8). The bulletin is issued twelve days after the presenter performs the heart transplant.
According to the medical bulletin, “Patient Fausto Silva is recovering well after undergoing a heart transplant on August 27 at Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital. He has normal cardiac function and no signs of organ rejection. He was transferred to an apartment where he is undergoing rehabilitation.”
The TV presenter was hospitalized with heart failure on August 5 at a hospital in the capital Sao Paulo. Approximately 15 days after hospitalization, a medical bulletin emphasized the need for a heart transplant.
