The emergency department in the south of the island will be converted into a day hospital and will operate in the old Hercilio Luis airport building.
The project is ready and work should start in June.
The City Hall of the capital decided to invest in offering new services to the population in partnership with Plena Malls.
The Mayor’s note goes into more detail: “With more physical space, the site will host a full-fledged medical center with day hospital rights, 24-hour mouthguards, an X-ray clinic, in addition to a more equipped medical center. emergency room and the construction of a women’s police station.
The start of work should take place by the second half of June, when all projects must be 100% approved by the Florianopolis City Hall. And old equipment such as chairs, carts and benches have been demobilized at Floripa Airport.”
