Australian model Sienna Weir passed away Thursday at the age of 23. The young woman was a finalist for the 2022 Miss Universe pageant and spent weeks in the hospital surviving with the help of appliances after falling from a horse and getting seriously injured.
According to international media reports, the model was riding a horse in the Australian city of Richmond on April 2, when she fell off the back of an animal and was injured. She was taken to the hospital and kept alive with appliances, but she could not resist her injuries. Information taken from R7.
The former Miss Universe finalist has already said that she was fond of horses and rode since childhood.
“Even though I have spent most of my life in the city, I have a deep passion for show jumping. My family doesn’t know where this passion came from, but I’ve been riding since I was 3 and can’t imagine my life without it,” she told Australian Gold Coast Magazine.
In addition to modeling, Sienna was also a graduate of the University of Sydney in psychology and English literature. She recently said she plans to move to the UK to be closer to her family and invest in her career.
