“I was in a better phase: I was going out, traveling, training and going to college face to face. I traveled with flu symptoms to Arraial do Cabo (RJ). My neck was swollen, every night I sweated profusely and felt tired. I went to the hospital there and they thought it was pneumonia. I returned to Florianopolis and ended up in the hospital,” she explains.
At that time, she was diagnosed with a rare leukemia called lymphoblastic T-cell lymphoma. In September, he launched an online crowdfunding campaign to try to raise 123,200 reais for the treatment and managed to raise over 130,000 reais.
