This week, the Hospital of San José de Criciuma participated in the audit of the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Federal Audit Chamber (TCU) as part of its normal activities. The goal is to evaluate services of medium and high complexity within the framework of the Unified Health System (UHS).

The whole process began in June of this year and since then several stages have been carried out. This week (October 3-7), three auditors from the SUS Audit System (SEAUD/SC) were at the hospital, which is the largest in southern South Carolina.

Based on the assessment provided by TCU, the Santa Catarina Audit Office (SEAUD/SC) selected hospitals with good DEA scores, i.e. with an efficiency percentage above 50%, for evaluation, and this item includes the hospital from Criciuma.
