Florianópolis will host the first ever Vou de Rosa party, created by architect Juliana Loffey to support actions and organizations helping women fight cancer.
With reference to Rosa’s October breast cancer campaign, the event began in 2017 in Tubarão, the city where the professional lives, in the south of Santa Catarina; broadcast live from New York in 2020, at the height of the pandemic; and upon request arrived in Orleans, also in the south of the state, in 2021.
Now the party will occupy the Franz Cabaret in the capital at 20:00 on the 19th of this month. The ticket, which is sold online for R$200, includes appetizers and a show by Soul Sisters, Suzaninha drag and DJ Scher.
The proceeds will go to the Breast Reconstruction Task Force, set up by the Instituto Cirurgiões do Bem in partnership with the Imperial Hospital de Caridade and which operates free of charge for women awaiting surgery.
By the way, Giuliana participates in Casacor SC, open until October 30, in the former Silveira de Souza school, with the Casa Vou de Rosa project.
Twice, she drew inspiration from her own experience treating a cancer patient to create a space of conceptual architecture filled with meaning.
The pink color stands out in cozy environments, from the walls to the refrigerator, and several pieces of furniture were designed by the author himself.
