Singer Ivete Sangalo hospitalized with a food infection. This Friday (30) she went live and said that the night before she became ill and had to go to a hospital in El Salvador where she lives with her family. The artist said that now she feels good and should be discharged soon.
The singer explained that she ate a scooter, a common seafood in Bahia, and felt ill soon after. She said she passed out and was rescued by husband Daniel Cady, who took her to the hospital.
“I did all sorts of tests and it really turned out to be a foodborne infection,” he said. The actress also assured that she was already better. Ivete is still hospitalized, but the discharge is predicted for this Saturday (1st).
“I’m fine, I’m being discharged tomorrow, thank God, and everything is going great,” he said. The singer said she was relieved to check out later on Saturday because she didn’t want to lose Sunday’s election.
“What bothered me the most was, ‘Come here, will I be well by Sunday so I can go vote?’,” she said.
