Those who followed Agro, Saúde e Cooperação this Sunday, July 31, witnessed some of the tilapia gastronomic experience. Very creative, recommended by a nutritionist for introducing white meat into the diet of children, and another unusual one, created by the fish value laboratory at IFSC Itajaí.

In both cases, the benefit lies in eating nutritious, low-calorie fish rich in protein, omega-3s, selenium, phosphorus, potassium, vitamins B3, B6, and B12.

For introducing into the diet of children, the main advantage is that the fillet does not have thorns and the taste is not as strong as other fish.

Below are two unbeatable recipes: fish burger and chocolate tilapia cake!

FISHBURGER

For this recipe you will need:

  • 500 g minced tilapia fillet
  • 1 lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • garlic Sause
  • Black pepper
  • spices 1 white onion, chopped
  • green onion
  • Basil

Simply stir and let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours before shaping to your desired size. A tip is to freeze it before putting it on a plate. Then simply add the accompaniment of your choice.

CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH TILAPIA

This unusual recipe was adapted by students of the IFSC course in Itajai. The goal is to reduce the amount of carbohydrates (wheat flour) per protein. Whoever tries it is guaranteed. I do not like fish!

For this recipe you will need:

  • 150 grams tilapia fillet
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup wheat
  • 5 tablespoons chocolate powder
  • 50 ml soybean oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 20 grams of chemical yeast

Whisk the egg, milk, butter and tilapia in a blender. Mix with dry ingredients in a bowl. Bake in a greased oven for 35-45 minutes at 180 degrees. At the end, add the topping of your choice.
