Singer Anitta remains in hospital after surgery to treat endometriosis. The operation took place this Wednesday (20) at the Vila Nova Star hospital located in Sao Paulo.

According to a statement released by the hospital on Thursday (21), Anitta is recovering well. “The evolution of the artist’s clinical condition after the operation is assessed as satisfactory,” reads the note sent to R7. Despite a good recovery, the funcqueira continues without high forecasts.

Anitta’s operation lasted about four hours and was classified by the hospital as “minimally invasive”. The procedure, which went without complications, was intended to treat endometriosis, an inflammatory condition caused by abnormal growth of endometrial cells outside the uterus. Since her operation, Anitta has been away from social media. Before the operation, the singer made several publications from the hospital, in which she was accompanied by her boyfriend, Canadian music producer Murda Beetz, and friend Gkai.
