The event opens today in Paris Jardins, Jardine in the beautiful setting of the Tuileries. On this romantic journey through flowers and plants, which can be visited until June 4, you will also be able to see a very special garden, namely the one with the license plate Chaneldedicated to one of the symbolic colors of the House’s fragrances, orange flower, which comes from the bitter orange tree. In previous editions, homage has been paid to other flowers such as May rose, pale iris, pink geranium, tuberose and last year, without fail, camellia, Coco Chanel’s favorite flower.
It will be like walking along the French Riviera corner of Grasse in the capital where you can personally feel and enjoy the precious ingredient grown in the south of the country and the protagonist of many Chanel perfumes, such as the iconic N 5 and Paris-Riviera eau de toilette. This temporary installation was created in collaboration with the Mule family, historically associated with the brand and also one of the most important producers of these flowers in Grasse.
Chanel Garden in Paris dedicated to bitter oranges
This is more than just a walk among the trees, it is an opportunity to go on an exciting journey to get deeper into where some olfactory sensations come from. This can be done in a special garden of about 200 m2, which will make visitors feel at the edge of the Mediterranean. Mademoiselle Chanel would have liked this, especially since it was made next to the Orangery Museumone of his favorites.
In short, it all comes back to this garden yes ephemeral but magical and full of inspiration and visionswhere you will not only become intoxicated with perfume, but also learn how the orange flower works and everything that can be extracted from it, starting with neroli, the precious ingredient that makes Chanel fragrances sparkling and unique.
