By now, the end of November all over the world corresponds to Black Friday, no longer associated with one Friday of exceptional discounts, but with a more or less long period of promotions and invitations to purchase. At the same time, however, there are more and more realities that respond to this commercial initiative with directly opposite alternative proposals aimed at encouraging consumption awareness support for a different lifestyle. Among them stands out Elbe water, a charity that creates perfumes for the human and the environment, and skin care products inspired by the beauty of the Tuscan island, with full respect for its ecosystem. Together with Aqua del Elba Foundationwhose purpose is precisely to protect this place, from November 21 to 27 will promote third edition of Green Week.
Acqua dell’Elba Green Week events
During these 7 days interesting events will be organized special meetings and workshops on topics ranging from sustainable development to respect for the environment, while not forgetting a very important topic for the company – the empowerment of women. Existing projects and projects for 2023 in the environmental and social field will also be presented, such as La Via dell’Essenza, a coastal path that will be created in collaboration with the Tuscan Archipelago National Park, or confirmation of the collaboration with Divermente Sani Elba Onlus, which helps the sick cancer and their families.
Some of the appointments will be dedicated to employees of the company, while others will be dedicated to schools located on the island, precisely because in the founding constitution of the brand the will to create social value, knowledge and awareness through such events. Water from the Elbe on UNESCO Blue Friday
As part of Green Week 2022, on 25 and 26 November, the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation will take part in blue friday organized in Venice by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO, a very important event that is part of the program of the United Nations Decade of Marine Sciences for Sustainable Development: an initiative that started last year and will end in 2030 meansand think about the consequences of Black Friday for the protection of the Mediterranean. The meeting will take place at the Palazzo Zorzi, the Venetian residence of UNESCO.
Obviously, Acqua dell’Elba will not participate in Black Friday with discounts and promotions. Indeed, with a purchase of at least 98 euros on the brand’s website, you will receive as a gift a Green Box containing a 500 ml room fragrance of your choice, and the net proceeds will go to support the Acqua dell’Elba Foundation.
