The silhouettes, in turn, are hybrid, viewed from unusual perspectives and yet aimed at enhancing femininity and sensuality. Aside from reimagining the fashion codes of the 90s and leaning towards the tomboy style that Kaia Gerber often leans towards, the collection has been designed to be inclusive as well. “During the design process, I thought not only about myself,” says Kaya, “I thought about my mother, friends and everyone I see around me. My style comes from so many different places and I didn’t want to create something that was exclusive to anyone.” To suit different body types, ages and styles, Kaya has focused on great classics such as blazers, suits, cream silk dress, raven satin bra, soft silk pajamas, long sleeve cream dress. and cut out pieces.
