Rebel Moon: Zack Snyder Talks Third Film and Director’s Cut

Rebel Moon – Part 2: Scar Marker is about to debut on Netflix, but the director Zack Snyder There are already plans for the future. In an interview with Forbeshe spoke about a possible third film, as well as the length and expected release date of the director’s cuts of parts one and two.
When asked about the future of the franchise and the possibility of a third film, Snyder said he was already working on it:
“We’re definitely working on a third part, story-wise. We definitely know where we’re going. Honestly, we’ve known this for a long time. So yeah, I’m really excited to be in the new Rebel Moon movies – that would be fun.”
He also talked about the director’s cuts of parts one and two, explaining why he thinks they’re worth watching back-to-back.
“It’s impossible to underestimate the immersive feeling you’ll get from watching both films. The director’s cut will be even more intense because of the extra scenes and details added to the world, just like we were able to do with more scenes and more time.”
When asked about the length of the director’s cut, he said that “Yes, each director’s cut is three hours long, so if you watch them both back to back, it’s a total of six hours. But I think it will be fun and definitely worth it.”
He also stated that “We don’t have an exact date” for the release of the director’s cut, but I would say that the release will take place “Probably sometime in August.”
