Naruto: Live-action Film Producer Talks About Potential Anime Cinematic Universe

ABOUT live action Naruto has never been this possible, and during the presentation Lionsgate V CinemaCon, producer of the new film adaptation of the work Masashi Kishimoto spoke not only about the film, but also about the possibility franchise-focused cinematic universe. According to Comic, producer Adam Fogelson – who is responsible for live action Naruto – teased that the series could dominate cinemas thanks to its own universe and stated that it exists “endless possibilities for future chapters.”
What we know for now is that Destin Daniel Cretton will be the director of adaptation and one of those responsible for the script. Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto publicly expressed his opinion on the project, showing full support for Cretton and believing that the director was an excellent choice for the project.
“When I heard about Destin’s casting, which happened right after I saw his action film, I thought he would be the perfect director for Naruto,” This is stated in the author’s statement, according to Hollywood Reporter. “Having enjoyed his other films and realizing that his strength is in creating complete dramas about people, I was convinced that Naruto could not have another director. After getting to know Destin, I also discovered that he was an open-minded director who was willing to listen to my opinions, and I deeply felt that we could collaborate in the production process.”
Information such as the release date or cast has not been revealed yet, but fans can get excited as the project is already in development!
