Oscars 2024 announces shortlist of candidates in 10 categories

Barbie is a film that stands as a possible competitor in more categories.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the body responsible for Oscar, has published a list of pre-selected films to compete in 10 award categories. Among possible competitors Barbie came out ahead, managing to compete in five of the ten declared categories.
