Mark Ruffalo, Marvel’s Hulk, Explains Why He Almost Stopped Acting

Now he reveals how he almost stopped acting throughout his career – and how his mother was responsible for stopping him from making that decision.

Apparently, having received this scolding from his mother, Ruffalo began to use it as a motivator every time he thought about leaving his career. And as a result, now he is here, with several awards and notable roles.

Ruffalo stars in Poor Creatures, a new film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, which will be released in Brazil in February 2024.

After this the presenter Hot asked if Ruffalo had any advice for those venturing into the world of acting. The actor then gave three pieces of advice to anyone who wants to get a job in this field:

“You are the only person who can stop you. Like any artist, you are the one who knows when it’s good. Because sometimes you feel, “Oh, the world is against me doing this.” This has happened to me several times. Then try not to get into debt, don’t take on too much debt because you need time and you can’t spend it just to deal with that debt. You must do a good job. And thirdly, develop yourself. Nowadays everyone is on social media and everyone is trying to be the same, so try to break out of that and develop your own voice. This is the one you are looking for, not another “X”. Develop a style, develop a way of working.”
