Nicolas Cage criticizes The Flash again due to his “participation” in the film
The actor was very disappointed with his scene in the film!
Launched mid-2023, Flash became one of the greatest disasters in history DC Comics. For months the film was promoted as “biggest superhero movie of all time“, but failed at the worldwide box office.
The film ends with a festival cameos and cameos, which have been heavily criticized by the public – especially since some of these “cameos” include people who are no longer alive. However, no one was more disappointed by this than Nicolas Cageplayed a short role in the film Superman alternate reality.
The actor has already expressed his questions regarding the scene, and in a new interview with the publication Wiredhe talks about his disappointment with the final product:
“You said it perfectly when you said, ‘We made a deal.’ This is problem. There was an agreement, and mutual understanding, and a contract, and you need to think about both sides and know what you are getting yourself into.”
The appearance of a special appearance caused much controversy in Internet, and many are wondering if this sequence was made with the help of artificial intelligence. Cage has his own opinion on this matter:
“I’m not saying they used AI on Superman. Perhaps they took advantage of this. I don’t know. It might have just been CGI, but either way it wasn’t what we did on set. How much I love [o diretor] Andy [Muschietti] This [sua irmã e produtora] Barbarian [Muschietti] “and I think they’re great—it’s still not what I was told to do on set.”
In the scene in question, we get a brief glimpse of an alternate Earth where we see Nicolas Cage’s Superman fighting a giant spider robot. The scene would be a kind of “closure of the cycle”, since in the project from the 90s the actor practically brought the Man of Steel to life.
Originally planned Tim Burton – who directed the first two films Batman – The Nicolas Cage film will be called Superman is alive and will be released in the 90s. Unfortunately, the project was canceled even before recording began, and the hero will return to theaters only with Superman: Returns2005.
Flash, in turn, “gives the chance” for Nicolas Cage to bring Superman to life in one of his final moments. After Barry Allen “hacked” the Multiverse, we got a glimpse of multiple realities, including a universe inhabited by Superman and for Super Girl Christopher Reeve and Helen Slater, and a world in which Batman none other than Adam West.
Flash available at HBO Max.
