Nicolas Cage says the scene that ended up in The Flash wasn’t the one he filmed for the film.
The sequence of images captured would be different from what appeared on the screen.
Nicolas Cage was one of the actors who took part in Flashgiving life to the hero (in your case Superman). The film proved to be very controversial and divided many opinions, mainly due to the amount computer graphics and, of course, Cage’s involvement would not go uncriticized. But recently the actor spoke out and it seems that what he wrote down Really different from what was chosen for the film.
During the interview he gave Yahoo!Cage stated that he physically shot several scenes for the film, but the original idea Superman V Flash it was very different from what was shown in cinemas. His character seemed like a creation, completely created computer graphics, What an actor wouldn’t like:
“They spent a lot of time creating the costume, and I think [Andy] He’s a great director, he’s a great guy, and I loved his two It films. I had to literally find myself in an alternate dimension, so to speak, and witness the destruction of the universe. Kal-El witnessed the end of the universe, and you can imagine, given the little time I had, what that would mean in terms of what I could convey. I had no dialogue [então tive que] convey emotions through the eyes. Here’s what I did. I was on set for three hours.”
Cage further stated:
“When I started filming the film, I was fighting a giant spider. I did not do it. That’s not what I did. I don’t think it was [criado pela] AI. I know Tim is upset about AI, as am I. It was CGI, okay, so they could age me up, and I’m fighting a spider. I didn’t do any of this, so I don’t know what happened there. But I understand what Tim means. I would be very unhappy if people took my art and appropriated it. I understand. I mean, I’m with him on this. AI is a nightmare for me. This is inhumane. It is impossible to be more inhuman than artificial intelligence.”
As we can see, Cage was not very happy with what was shown, and, of course, with the possible use of AI in the film. He assumes that these things out of your control, since part of the filming of the entire scene with the finished costume was done by him. He should just look at destruction of the universe and tried to convey complex feelings of loss and sadness and that’s what he did, it’s a shame it didn’t air.
