The creator of “The Crown” spoke about a possible spin-off of the series
There is a lot to tell about the history of the British royal family!
Soon Crown will release its latest series on Netflix, and now the creator and showrunner from the series, Peter Morgan talked about the possibility of creating a spin-off dedicated to another moment in the life of the British royal family.
In an interview with Variety, in which he spoke about the success of the production ahead of the final season, the producer said that he has plans for a new production:
“I have an idea,” – said Morgan. “But first, I need to do something else, and second, I will need a unique set of circumstances to level out.”
The producer and writer haven’t revealed what the spin-off’s premise will be, but have made it clear that it will “definitely” take place before the era of Elizabeth II shown in Crown. “If I were to go back to The Crown, it would definitely be going back in time.”
Previously there were rumors that the series prequel was already in development and was intended to begin with the death of Queen Victoria in 1901 and end before the events of the first season of The Crown, which begins in 1947.
Final chapter Crown will be divided into two parts and will cover events from 1997 to 2005. part 1 debut in November 16And part 2V December 14 on Netflix.
