The film, which adapts the popular game franchise, also had some strange moments in its production.
Five Nights at Freddy’s this is a new horror movie from Blumhouse And Universal picturesadapting the series video games which has the same name. Director Emma Tammy and starring Josh Hutchersonthe film promises to be scary, but according to the director, strange situations happened on the set itself, including with one of the bears on fire!
Five Nights at Freddy’s tells the story of Mike, a night security guard who works at a pizzeria called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. This place was successful decades ago and houses several animatronic animals, but it is at night that Mike realizes that these characters not only come to life, but can also be very dangerous.
Of course, to bring the teddy bears into cinematic reality, the producers decided to use practical effectsby using animatronics to bring them to life. However, Tammy, the film’s director, stated that she had an incident with one of these animatronics:
“One day we were filming and someone came up and said, ‘Foxy’s hand is on fire.’ I looked around and found that one of the dolls had overheated from being used too much, which can happen from time to time. This was the only time this happened on set. There was a lot of smoke and everyone had to leave, but we changed weapons and everything went well.” she told the portal IGN.
