Duo has created new evolving versions of digiovos

With the recent announcement of a film continuing the story of Digimon 02, this long-forgotten era of classic Japanese animation has surprisingly returned to the spotlight. Inspired by the peculiar form of digital evolution in this saga, illustrators @magikdex and @foongoos_mon created an evolution for classic pokemon from digiovos armor.

Continuing the story of the Digides, Digimon Season 2 was supposed to introduce a new form of evolution to bring a different personality to Digimon’s evolution. Patamon This Gatomonpartners TK and Kari, who were present in the original season of the franchise.

Thus, special eggs were introduced as an alternative to coats of arms, retaining links with virtues such as Courage and Hope but adding armor to the digital forms. The artist duo applied the same concept to the Hoenn Pokémon series, bringing a new aspect to their evolution that would be very welcome in the games. Watch the original videos:

Among the highlights we have the pseudo-legends of the region, Bagon This Beldun, which evolve along with the egg of Light and Hope, like the main characters of the season, receiving angelic forms. Initials of Hoenn – Tights, Torchik This Mudkip – has an even more interesting evolution, since it very creatively mixes the types of these creatures.
