“I realized that for her and for the future of our industry and generation, I needed to stand with my strength and my light and do my best with this character.” Nomwete said. “So I went up to the showrunners and begged them to make this moment important. I begged them not to make her a maid or just a “wife” or funny fat friend. I begged them to make her some sexy titan.”

In the production that aired, the actress’s requests seem to have been heard. Disa is presented as a character in her own right and not simply as Durin’s wife (Owain Arthur), and although it has some funny moments, it also has its own motives and ambitions, besides a beautiful costume and a big personality.

“I went through the seven stages of grief by reading some of the comments, and then I understood the task.
